Cadi Ayyad University (UCA) is a Moroccan university established in 1978.

Over the years, it has grown to become the first African University to introduce Massive Online Open Courses (over 100 teaching modules), including E-labs, as a pedagogical tool to make up for the low supervision rate and reduce students failure.

It is consolidating this achievement into becoming a Smart University that takes wholistic advantage of ICT in pedagogy, collaborative research as well as administration and financial management for greater efficiency and better governance.
