Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) is a Nigerian university established in 1975. It currently comprises 16 faculties and 6 research centers, offering 58 undergraduate and 155 postgraduate programs, including 49 Ph.D. programs across engineering, arts and humanities, physical and computing sciences, as well as medical and life sciences.
The university is positioning itself as a regional and international research hub through collaborations with universities and research institutes in Europe and Asia—advancing cutting‑edge work in energy, life sciences, economics and management, petroleum, and renewables.
UDUS has also established the Center for Open and Distance Education (CODE) to provide equitable access to high‑quality education for all learners.
